Update: We have reached our maximum number for Christmas baskets this year, we are accepting forms for gifts.

Our Spirit of Giving program provides holiday meal baskets for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. We also provide gifts for children under the age of 16 at Christmas time.

• Gifts are purchased and wrapped by generous volunteers.
• Client information remains anonymous.
• Clients must pre-register for this program.

REACH collaborates with the Great Plains Food Bank, North Country Food Bank, and Feeding America to provide children in Hawley, Ulen-Hitterdal School Districts, and Norman County East Elementary School, Ada Borup West with food to take home and consume over the weekend each Friday during the school year.

Children receive nutritious, kid-friendly, and shelf stable items such as juice, cereal, soup, fruit, granola bars, and easy to prepare individual meals. It currently costs $8.00 to fill each backpack bag with these items, and monetary donations for the BackPack Program are greatly appreciated, as REACH can purchase food through the Great Plains Food Bank at a nominal cost.
